Paptic Ltd was founded in 2015 in Finland to address one
of the biggest global environmental challenges, the plastic
waste accumulating in the oceans. After only 14 months
Paptic delivered their first products to the market and
since then have been increasing their capacity to meet the
needs of brand owners and retailers.

Paptic Ltd manufactures a bio based, recyclable and renewable material. Paptic® is produced at paper machines
enabling the fast growth of upscaling Paptic® production,
making it the most available bio-based alternative for

The main aim in using Paptic® products is to decrease the
use of plastic. Plastic pollution is a worldwide problem,
which means that the whole world is within the
geographical reach of Paptic. Paptic® material can be
used in applications in a high risk of ending to the oceans.
According to the feedback from our customers and
consumers the haptic properties of products made with
Paptic® material encourage consumers to reuse them.

There is an obvious need among brand owners for a
sustainable packaging material whose environmental
friendliness can be effortlessly communicated to
consumers thus making the investment in new packaging
concepts viable. Plastic are not the choice of sustainable
brands in the future.
