SOLVENT BASED ADHESIVE
Solvent based adhesives come in a liquid form. The components are usually mixed and dissolved in traditional aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. After applying onto the surface of the materials to be bonded, the solvents in the adhesive will evaporate leaving behind an adhesive film that will bond the two materials together. Selic's solvent based adhesives come in a variety of types, namely Polychloroprene Rubber, Polyurethane, and Styrene-Butadiene Rubber, in order to serve the assortment of industries out there, such as Leather, Footwear, Automotive, Construction, and Furniture & Woodworking. World, KOAT, and ZICCO are solvent based adhesive trademarks that have been a part of Selic for over 25 years, and thus, are well known within the Leather and Footwear industries.
