About us
Company details
The Ziegler family has been making wafers for over three generations. Though the original Ziegler Bakery was forcefully nationalized in 1948, Tibor Ziegler continued the tradition by making wafers from the 1950's. His son, János Ziegler branched off in 1970 and founded Ziegler Trade Ltd.
During the privatization that followed the collapse of the Communist regimes, the company reacquired the Ziegler Bakery. New, in-house designed, proprietary wafer production line was deployed in the completely overhauled building. In 2001 the growth of the company prompted the relocation to a much larger property in Zsámbék, our current headquarters. The facility accommodates the wafer production lines as well as the machine design and manufacturing shop. Our wafer baking machines have been exported to 38 countries around the world.
