In 1885, Friedrich Dierks and a partner founded a company for agricultural, domestic and dairy equipment in Osnabrück, which is nowadays the biggest supplier for machines for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry. At that time only a craft business, DIOSNA is today an internationally successful company.

The focus in the food industry is the Bakery division – from artisan bakers to the baking industry.
The Dough-Experts provide the most important processes of dough production - from dosing, pre-dough preparation, the mixing process and automated logistic systems. When combining the DIOStart bio technology, pre-dough technology and mixing technology, dough characteristics will be achieved which enable a significant advantage for taste, consistency and mixing process for our customers and result in the best possible production of baked goods.
Mixing, granulating, coating and drying are the main segments within the second DIOSNA business segment. From small laboratory mixers to complete production plants, this business unit provides solutions for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries as well as for the Cosmetic and Food industries.
