Engineering and design challenges in packaging components
To meet the growing needs of customers and international competition, packaging designers will have to rethink. Unlike industrial mass production, personalisation requires machine configurations that can be changed and adapted quickly, at the press of a button. In the long term, the demands of Industry 4.0 and the Smart Factory can only be realised through wider systems that are both complex and interlinked. We are therefore seeing a rise in the number of innovative packaging solutions and also the development of new components for drive and control equipment, parts and accessories for entire automation systems and indeed combinations of software, hardware and efficient control models. This means more optical sensors, communicative packaging and modular interfaces, whether in medicine, the food industry or the cosmetics sector.
SPECIAL TRADE FAIR COMPONENTS AT INTERPACK makes interpack 2017 to a double package. This supplier trade fair on the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds will be an integral part of interpack as of 2017. And exhibitors such as, for example, the mechanical engineering company BOSCH will definitely not miss out on components.
