Ukrplastic company again upheld its conformance with the requirements of international standards ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental management systems), ISO 22000:2005 (Food safety management systems) and ISO 9001:2008 (Quality management systems). Auditors from the independent international certification centre TÜV NORD Ukraine carried out the annual assessment and concluded that the production keeps on conforming with the requirements of the international standards. The integrated management system has been implemented in PC “Ukrplastic” since 2001 and, pursuant to the conditions of the certification, the production confirms the compliance of its activity with the requirements of the international standards annually.
ISO 22000:2005 “Food safety management systems -- Requirements for any organization in the food chain” is a first international standard, a food safety management system may be implemented and certified on the basis of. It deals with the issues of communication, system management and hazards control.
ISO 9001:2008 specifies assessment of management and control system criteria in a specific organization with the purpose to establish conformance of end products with consumers’ and partners’ expectations. This standard is considered to be a basic indication of high management quality. ISO 14001:2004 establishes control and improvement of ecological issues of a company’s activity. It is a voluntary standard, like the others.
