Based on the results of the international competition World Star 2013 of the World Packaging Organization (WPO), UKRPLASTIC Company received the title of Packaging Star. The competent jury took a decision at the Board Meeting of the World Packaging Organization (WPO) that was held in Barcelona on November 4-7, 2013.

More than 20 countries presented to the jury about 200 samples of packaging. The members of high jury evaluated the design, materials quality and specifics of samples manufacturing. Sample of a pack for Dirol chewing gum, developed by experts of PJSC UKRPLASTIC was awarded with one the highest prizes of the competition and the title of Packaging Star.

As it has been indicated by Irina Mirochnik, Head of UKRPLASTIC Management Board, the customers before buying some goods analyze the design and packaging quality and then the packaged product. Therefore, packaging industry has to search for new solutions that are further presented at the annual competitions. “I am proud that this year UKRPLASTIC packaging received the title of Packaging Star from the World Packaging Organization (WPO), and also allowed us to receive the main prize of the competition The Best of the Best Packaging from GAA and the Golden Prize from EFIA- 2013 Gold Print Award”, - Irina Mirochnik has stated.

It should be reminded that UKRPLASTIC is a member of Packaging Club that has been presented Ukraine at the World Packaging Organization (WPO) since 1998. This year award is the 18th prize received by UKRPLASTIC at the international competition World Star.
