Robopac renews the Helix rotating arm family, easier to use with lower consumption

Robopac Sistemi presents the restyled Helix rotating arm family at Interpack 2014. Much more, however, than a simple make-over. In fact, the range was rationalised to avoid redundancies between models and to best standardise components to facilitate the right machine choice for every need and reduce maintenance and spare parts costs.

Moreover, the new generation of Helix machines has smaller overall dimensions and lets you optimise the use of consumables, especially film.

Additionally, Robopac Sistemi has planned for the world debut of the TPM Ready technology option at the expo. This is a holistic approach to best optimise machine maintenance, reducing downtime, defects and breakdowns to a minimum.

Specifically, Glauco Mosca Moschini, Robopac Sistemi Sales & Marketing director, explained that “Helix contains a total free type removal system for parts more susceptible to use and wear to minimise machine management costs reducing key operating part wear. This way, the operator is able to intervene with first immediate maintenance without having to call the manufacturer". Among the adopted solutions, maximum ergonomics for routine maintenance and spool change as well as maximum device visibility that provides machine reading status. "Furthermore – continued Moschini – lubrication points were reduced in order to centralise and clearly mark them with specific symbols for immediate comprehension of the work to be completed”.

Robopac Sistemi is the first company in the sector, and the world, to use this approach on machines to make them more user-friendly and render maintenance more immediate.
