Wet glue, hotmelt or self-adhesive labelling technology on one single machine – the LANGGUTH specialists created a real allrounder that leaves nothing to be desired. The company presents the new series moduLAN which enables the customer to run all three different labelling systems on one rotary machine. Of course it is possible to design a moduLAN labeller also for one or two labelling techniques. On the exhibition stand a moduLAN machine with two self-adhesive dispensers as well as one wet glue labelling station for a label length > 200 mm is shown. Front and back labels as well as seal labels are applied onto cylindrical containers. As usual LANGGUTH placed great emphasis on highest quality and technical know-how. „Our engineers equipped therefore the rotary labeller with a FVT label magazine in order to process labels up to 400 mm length precisely and reliably. The labels are removed individually by vacuum process. For the first time the removal is effected via a servo controlled vacuum bar and furthermore all drives are designed as servo drives“, general manager Klaus Pekruhl points out. Additionally the machine design allows an easy cleaning process: The table adopts only the infeed and discharge star as well as the main bearing. As no other components are positioned on the table easy maintenance is possible.
