Brazilian Industry brings Plastic Packaging Products to Interpack 2014
Brazilian manufacturers will feature the best in plastic packaging from Brazil at Interpack Processes and Packaging Leading Trade Fair, held from May 08th to 14th at the Dusseldorf Messe, Dusseldorf, Germany.
Due to the multiple business relations between Germany and Brazil and the recent growth of the industry, Brazil maintains a high interest in the European market and arrives at Interpack with 10 manufacturers that will be presenting their product range of: stretch and shrink films, healthcare packaging, PP films on rolls, induction seals, laminated PP bags, food containers, industrial packaging, injected molded products, masterbatches with concentrates of white and black pigment, compounds and colors for application in thermoplastic resins.
“Interpack Processes and Packaging Leading Trade Fair is very important to our members with focus in Europe, Africa, as well North, Central and Latin America”, said Marco Wydra, the Think Plastic Brazil Executive Manager. At the 2011 edition of this trade fair, 15 Brazilian companies participated in the program’s stand and made 561 contacts with international buyers. The volume of business resulting from the show reached US$ 45 thousand in contracts, plus another US$ 9,120 million in deals expected to close in the following 12 months.

BANDEIRANTE/PANOCAP: Bandeirante manufactures PET jars in a large variety of sizes and styles. It also offers a line of PET and PVC industrial containers. Most materials are coextruded and involve 6 color print combinations. The company is exhibiting at Pack Expo for the third time and is seeking new customers in the US market.
ZARAPLAST: It has nine manufacturing plants employing over 2,000 qualified professionals, manufacturing plastic packaging products distributed in Brazil and abroad. Zaraplast’s packaging products are present in the food and beverage industries, hygiene, cleaning, chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilizers, among others.

The Think Plastic Brazil Program was created in December 2003 (formerly known as the Export Plastic Program), when the Brazilian integrated plastic chain, ranked among the 10 largest in the world and renowned for its advanced skilled workforce, in partnership with the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade through Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), took the decision to promote the exports of converted plastic products under the coordination of the Brazilian Plastic Institute (INP).
