Latest figures attributed to quality products, ‘never obsolete’ policy, UK-based manufacturing and comprehensive training and support packages
Food industry metal detection specialist, Banbury-based Fortress Technology has announced its latest financial results, summarised by a 34% increase in sales turnover. Canadian parent company Fortress Technology Inc. also reports a 25% increase.
Sarah Ketchin, Managing Director, Fortress Technology comments: “Our strong financial performance highlights the increasing demand for our advanced metal detectors, positive response to our training and support packages, and our ‘never obsolete’ commitment. Our customers also seem to appreciate that Fortress Technology equipment is made in Britain.
“Based on this latest performance, we are confident that the upward trend will continue during 2014. We plan on building on this strong momentum with on-going investment in the sales force and operating and production functions, as well as growing our geographic footprint through an expanding distributor network.”
Fortress Technology’s ‘never obsolete’ commitment means its metal detectors can always be upgraded, regardless of their age, and its service engineers are able to provide validation certificates to verify compliance of machines to individual customers’ site specifications.
Specially packaged customer support products and services provide the user with all the documentation and certification necessary to satisfy stringent food safety audit requirements. Validation documents, certified test samples and preventative maintenance programmes go hand in hand with bespoke training programmes for all levels and tiers.
Flexible custom-designed products, which are simple to operate and offer exceptional performance and outstanding reliability, also contribute to Fortress Technology’s increased sales figures.
